Received a call from the recruiter a month after submitting application. Typical screen questions: walk me through your resume, why Classy, what are you looking for. Asked if I was planning to relocate to San Diego despite the position being listed as remote. Scheduled with hiring manager a couple of days later. Manager did not seem to have reviewed my resume. He was taking a walk at the time, indicating that he wasn't taking notes, either. He was surprised that I was not in CA. He also asked if I was going to be relocating. When I said no, he said he *might* be open to considering a remote employee.
