I have had a few initial phone interviews for various HR related roles at Cleveland Clinic in various locations both Akron and Cleveland. The initial phone screen is very impersonal and highly structured.

The interviewing process was very professional and efficient. The interview was more of a presentation of the HR function in the organization vs. many questions to me as a candidate. This made me wonder if I was being considered a serious candidate or this was just a quick part of the initial screening process. The organization is a huge employer in the area and I am sure the response rate to openings is very high.
