      Pretty typical for a company of this size an maturity. 1. Recruiter screen 2. Hiring manager screen - half behavioral, half Leetcode style. The problem was "easy" level 3. Onsite -- this is system design, another leetcode, and a behavioral. The system design was the more challenging of the two as the leetcode was a "medium" and was more just time-constraints. I actually really enjoyed meeting everyone -- I was given a verbal offer. About 4 days later they did a 22% layoff and so I could not wait for leadership to decide what they were going to do about headcount, as I had another offer in waiting. Overall the people seem great, recruiter was top-notch. I'm not so sure about c-level leadership and decisions just based on things I've heard through the grapevine.

      screening round(coding + behavioral) and then the main loop. I think it was a waste of time for me, should not have applied, their technical teams are not experienced at interviewing, in my case they had a relativiely junior guy who did coding round, and he had not prepared the question well, i found out an issue with the question itself, he could not define the question properly, and after i had asked some clarifying questions, he had asked me to just assume some stuff, but by assuming that there is a method that exists, i could not write complete code...because of course i could not call that method, the whole interview went haywire, and as usual i was made responsible and got a reject because of "coding" rounds, i want to say to the leadership, if you want to fuel empty ego's of your junior developers masked as senior engineers, then don't hire Staff engineers, if you think your junior engineers are gud enough to evaluate and hire Staff engineers then you probable don't need Staff Engineers

      Internal recruiter was very informative and helped keep me up to date every step of the way. Was able to answer any initial questions and also follow ups as needed. Talked with six different people/groups: - initial hiring manager, mostly to understand my background and talk a bit about ClickUp to see if it would be something to continue forward - technical interview for component design - technical interview for coding challenge - culture and values interview - informal manager chat - informal SVP of Engineering chat
