I recently had the pleasure of interviewing for the Product Manager, Payments role at Cloudbeds, and I wanted to share my positive experience. From the outset, the process was well-organized and transparent. The Recruitment team provided clear instructions and timelines, which helped set my expectations appropriately. The initial screening was thorough and relevant, focusing on my experience and how it aligned with the role. The subsequent interviews were a mix of technical and behavioral assessments. Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, and then scheduled 30 minutes. I asked for any overview info they had, but that wasn't provided. Despite having my resume, she went on to describe a role that had little relation to my experience and doesn't match the industry norm for the titling.

Submitted my application online and was invited to do a “one way interview”, which is basically where a computer asks you questions and you respond to those and record your answers. The interview format was a bit strange but overall not much different from meeting with a real person except you get built in prep time! The interview itself wasn’t bad but I marked my process as negative because I never heard back from Cloudbeds with positive or negative feedback.
