One of the worst interview processes Ive had so far thanks to the recruiter. The hiring process stages are as follows:
1. English proficiency test
2. SparkHire Interview (one way recorded video)
3. Written questionnaire
4. Final live video interview(s) with the hiring team
The live video interview was great short and to the point. Very simple questions. The one thing that needs improvement was the recruiter. She could have been better at keeping up updates and not spend 3+ weeks ghosting people. Whole process took 1.5 months in total and I even had to reach out to the recruiter to see what was going on several times.
Thank you for your feedback. We are a small team of recruiters managing a heavy volume of applicants around the world so our response times can be delayed occasionally. This should be the exception rather than the rule. Your feedback is appreciated and we will continue to improve in this regard.

I applied late July 2020 online after viewing an article on LinkedIn. The hiring process took about 5-6 weeks. There was an initial application and resume submission where you answer standard questions about your experience and salary expectations. I then received an "English in a professional setting" assessment. Shortly after I received an invitation to submit a one-way video interview. During this process I recorded myself answering 10 questions about customer service and related strengths/weaknesses, as well as a review of my professional background. A week after submission, I received a written assessment to partake in where I completed 3 different "Mock" guest issues and explained how and why I responded the way I did. Lastly I was invited to a live video interview with 4 staff members in various departments along with my recruiting coordinator. The interview itself was to the point and the questions directly correlated with my job description. The Last step was submitting 3 professional references. 2 weeks later I received a job offer! The whole process was long but very fluid. I was never left in the dark wondering what my status was in the application process. My recruiter did a great job of keeping me informed. The only hind-sight I have is wanting to have a more thorough conversation about benefits, salary negotiations, etc. You are not introduced to a HR representative until your offer is sent and you have a few short days to accept or decline. All in all I am happy that Cloudbeds takes great consideration into all of their applicants and truly looks for the best fit for both company and employee.
