Applied for role at Sheffield Co Op Ecclesall Road, in Jan 2021 was told would hear back in 2 weeks but never heard a thing from them despite contacting their hr dept. considering their ethical stance and people values this is just a smokescreen and is very unprofessional for such an organisation and speak volumes on how they conduct themselves and treat candidates. Despite what they promote they are just like any other supermarket.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. We always encourage candidates to obtain feedback following an interview. Especially if you haven't heard back in the timeframe we've said that you'd hear. Did you try to contact the store manager that interviewed you?

Very impersonal. All done online and the logic between what constitutes a good or bad answer is totally unidentifiable. You would have better luck turning up in person and asking if you can hand in your CV and interview in person instead!

The interview process was very easy and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and made it feel more like a friendly, comfortable conversation than a formal interview. As well as one of the best interviews I've actually had.
