After sending my CV, I received a quick call with some basic questions about my experience, then we schedule an interview with the same HR recruiter, a project manager and a senior Data Engineer. The questions were simple, about my past experience and motivation. After that I received feedback that I was moving forward in the interview process and I started the take home challenge which was sent by e-mail and we had 7 days to complete. The challenge was really long, specially if you have a full time job to do. One of the questions involved designing a system on a plataform that I had already stated during the interview process that I had no knowledge about and could well be answered on an equivalent platform that I knew without forcing someone to learn an entire plataform on such sort time (the other questions were also long). I sent the answers to the challenge, and I was told that the feedback was going to be quick (about 3 days) and it was up to this point. However, they took 2 weeks call me at this stage, after I already had sent another e-mail asking for feedback. They only said that they were looking for someone more senior and that nonetheless they would send feedback about the challenge. That feedback never come and I spent more than a week working for nothing, because I had already stated my experience during the previous interview stages.
