I received a phone call from the recruiter. It was quite fast paced and short. They planned to ask three questions. Generally, about your work experience and how it may be transferable to the position.

The interview process was very spread out, 5 rounds over 3 months of time. It began with 2 interviews with a recruiter, had a work assignment, and then 2 final interviews with actual Code Nation employees. The first round interviews were easy, but the recruiter was not well equipped to answer specific questions about the job or the company. Overall, the talent acquisition company made the process feel unorganized and I had to go through many rounds of interviews before I could even get an answer to "what does a day in the life of this position look like?". When I finally spoke to a Code Nation employee, it had been months since I initially applied to the position. While the company's mission is great, I unfortunately could not wait any longer to finish their drawn out interview process. I had to accept a job elsewhere because I do not have the privilege to be unemployed for months while they select candidates.

The majority of the hiring process was conducted by a third party group, but the process was engaging and assignment-based. There were several different rounds of interviews and assignments before finalists were presented to the hiring manager.
