There is two round of F2F interview. 1st round of interview is purely to test the technical skills. 2nd Round of interview is a managerial round which is to understand the workflow in which the candidate has worked before. It involves an overview of technical things that has came while working in the previous company.

I got this call through a staffing company. They clearly mentioned that they want a person who knows Linux, Apache,Tomcat and DNS but as my interview starts that person started asking as like CTS wants an einstein not an employee. That person was confused that for which profile he has to hire exactly as on starting he said that he is looking a person who has application support level knowledge then in the mid of the interview he started asking me devops tools lilke puppet,chef,jenkin,ansible, fog,relic and at last when i asked him that what will be the roles and responsibility then he said that looking for a person who is having knowledge of a bit high level of Linux Admin. I don't understand why they are wasting other's time if they want all this. They should mention this on starting itself. They shortlisted my resume in which i didn't mentioned any devops tools nor casandra DB but still he was asking all this. This is the second time when CTS disappoint me.

The questions were purely based on the areas of interest specified by me. It was a good experience. Thorough knowledge of basics would help in getting a positive outcome in the interview process.
