I went through Cognizant placement drive, in my College and here are the details. Three-tier process - an Aptitude test, Technical Interview, HR Interview. Aptitude Test(3rd September)- Online, camera-enabled on Amcat. Huge no of Selections(most of the college students clear it). Technical Interview(16th September) - After approx. 1 week from the aptitude test. Huge no of rejections ( 1/3 of the selected here) HR Interview(16th September) - Same day as of the Technical Interview. The Technical interview was a campus drive placement interview. Introduce yourself - myself, project, fav language. ( give directions to the interviewer from where he can ask questions). They were asking about projects and your fav subject to mostly all the people( except few). I pitched Java and he asked me questions on DBMS, Java basic concepts, and project. The interviewer was not able to ask much questions on the project as it is on new technology, I was the one speaking continuously for 10+ mins. My interview lasted around 35 minutes wher average was 15mins. ( the interviews in pool campus drives go in a jiffy) Pro Tip - Make your resume precise, and put those things in it, where you are comfortable and have sound knowledge in it, unnecessary things can create a problem for you during the interview. After clearing the Technical Interview, we were asked to photocopy our important documents( semester-wise grade card, 12th and 10th mark sheet, pan card, aadhar card, passport - application for those which you are unable to present at that moment(no issues). Almost 1/3 student was rejected from the Technical Round. HR round begins. Some questions which were asked were - Why Cognizant, the meaning of Cognizant, Main Headquarters of the company. Mine was why do you want to join CTS? and then sign a Paper (where it was basically mentioned that they can place me any campus, and can train me on any technology, signing is mandatory for all). The HR round was more of a formality for document verification as nothing serious was going on, and I hope they will take all the students who reached till HR round( except some cases). Results are to be declared after 1 month when all the pool campus companies have visited and gone. I will update this afterwards( I have cleared Technical round and also gone through HR round, Hoping for the best. Let's see.) Upvote it if you want it to be useful for others.
