The Cognizant hiring process started with an online test conducted by Aspiring Minds which consisted of (25 verbal, 16 quant, 14 logical questions), i found the test to be easy but the time needed to be managed properly. After clearing the test i got a mail for the Interview, The interview consisted of 2 parts, the first one was Technical interview in this i was asked the following questions about SDLC and its types, Verification and Validation, I was asked to write a program showing Funtion overloading and wap showing funtion overriding, Java basic terms like (JDK,JRE,JVM), Final class, Abstact class, what is normalization (diff b/w 1st and 2nd normal form), i was able to answer most of the questions correctly and was asked to proceed for HR interview, in hr, i was asked to tell 2 Plus points and 2 negatives about my city (New Delhi), about my family, and to speak about the story of the latest movie i watched, then finally they asked if i was ready to relocate, (I agreed for relocation). Then i was told that you will be informed about the result within a week.
