Many HR's from cognizant called me for interview but they didn't schedule any interview. Very pathetic situation. Even there are many openings going on in cognizant since their attrition rate is very high and they don't even pay good salaries.

I reached at Cognizant office for the scheduled interview @9:30 in the morning on 13th Oct 2018. To get visiting pass, the process took more than 90 mins. Then registration was done around 11:30 a.m. After that I was called for the interview around 2:00 p.m. 2 technical rounds were there and by 3:00 p.m I was told that I have cleared those rounds and need to wait for HR round. Then I waited for my HR round till 8:00 p.m. Candidates whose interview started 3 hours later , their HR round was taken before me. In the HR round, I was told that Cognizant can't match my Current CTC and thus can't offer the position to me which was a shock to me. On asking that why my profile has been shortlisted on the first place because all this information was provided earlier and thus I was shortlisted, HR persontold me that this I need to talk to the person who sent me the mail. I told him that I came for the interview because it was sent on behalf of Coggnizant and thus I trusted the source. Also, I feel that for HR round I was made to wait more purposely as this information could have been passed to me earlier only. I can never trust Cognizant anymore. You people should take care of such things as we candidates put many efforts for a scheduled interview. Anyways, it was a very pathetic experience for me and I lost my whole day, wasted money on travel cost and will never ever be attending interviews for Cognizant in the future.
