I interviewed for the UX Design Intern position and found the process to be well-structured and respectful of my time and effort. The process consisted of three parts.
1. HR Screening Call
The first step was a screening call with HR, where we briefly discussed my background, interest in the role, and availability. It was a short but friendly conversation to ensure alignment before moving on to the main interviews.
2. Technical Interview (with UX team - 3 interviewers)
I was asked to present one of my UX projects. I had around 25–30 minutes to walk through the project, followed by 20–30 minutes of in-depth questions. They asked how I identified the problem, validated it with users, and determined that it was worth solving. I was also asked about the key metrics I used to evaluate the success of my UX/UI design. The team focused on both strategic and process thinking, not just the visual side.
3. Behavioral Interview (with HR)
This interview centered around soft skills. HR asked how I handle conflict within a team and asked for an example of a time I demonstrated leadership. It felt genuine and conversational, not overly scripted.
Overall
The interview experience was positive and thoughtful. I appreciated the balance of technical and behavioral evaluation, and that they allowed time for me to ask questions as well. It was a great opportunity to share my design approach and connect with the team.
