Recruiter phone call, video chat with hiring manager, then on-site.
Onsite went well, and everyone I talked to was nice. The organization was the core applications platform(CAP) team.
Was told I did very well by the hiring manager and that I’d get feedback in a few days, waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. Asked for a timeline for the offer & was told they couldn’t commit to any sort of deadline or timeline for a decision(this is a word for word quote). Waited another week, and then was told that they had extended offers to other candidates, but wouldn't be extending any more offers until early July to stagger new joiners, but that they could 'keep in touch' then.
Although the on-site experience went well, the treatment after the fact was embarrassingly bad. If you don't want to make a hire, please reject promptly so candidates can continue elsewhere.
