I responded to a message on my digital cable that Comcast was hiring. It took about 1.5 to 2 weeks to be called and given an immediate phone interview to gauge my interest and background. After 'passing' this brief interview I was asked to take a test on line. After I 'passed' that one I had to take another. I did both in the same day. After 'passing' the second I was contacted to schedule an in person interview. I was escorted to a room with several computers, most were occupied with candidates taking their online tests but I only needed to verify my resume and contact information on their system. Once I completed that, I was interviewed by Director of Human Resources. It became painfully obvious to everyone involved that I was way over qualified for the position but to her credit she still afforded me the opportunity to interview with a shift supervisor. He interviewed me using a printed out list of questions that were actually more challenging than the Directors. He actually asked me to state a Situation, Action and Result story! I had never heard an interviewer frame a question in the way I have been trained to answer.
