      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Comfy (Oakland, CA) nel mese di dic 2015

      Colloquio

      I applied online and got an email inviting me to an onsite interview/screening with the Director of Customer Success. This was a bit confusing for me because I was used to an initial phone screening before coming onsite. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very casual and the Director seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. I come from a nonprofit and government background so I was not used to this style of interviewing. There were not the strict question/answer layout; it was more of a natural conversation. He didn't even have a list of question of anything to take notes on. I was a bit taken off guard by this style. I expected the second interview to be more challenging. I was invited to a second interview onsite. It was a series of interviews with five folks at the company (three on the customer success team and two on other teams). It was the same style of interview (casual conversation with no pre-selected questions and no note taking). They were all really friendly folks and I loved chatting with them. But I was concerned they were going easy on me and I asked them for more difficult questions to show my skills. In retrospect, I missed the point; the interviews were mostly about the personality fit. While I wasn't offered a third interview, I had a very positive experience interviewing with BR. They one of the most engaged companies I interviewed with. I wish I could do it over again.

      The interview was fair & open. There was room for questions on both sides and everything was quite transparent. Thorughout the process it was always respectful with a quick response.
