Extremely disrespectful of candidate’s time. I had to take an unpaid day off of work to go to an onsite interview only to send the hiring manager a thank you email with no response. Why give me your email if you don’t even plan on replying? Followed up with the recruiter, their voicemail said “your call could not be completed as dialed.” This was the day after I emailed them asking for an update with no response. Then I finally got an automated rejection letter. Had I not followed up multiple times they would have completely forgotten about me.
