I was so excited to apply for Compass. I have over 7 years of marketing experience at a global real estate tech firm and felt that I would really fit into the Compass culture given what I had read online (note: the job was asking for 2-6 years experience). I had the worst experience interviewing... I honestly have never felt so diminished by a recruiter. She seemed so uninterested in what I had to say and talked about herself the entire time. I wasn’t invited to the next round. But I asked to keep in touch because I wasn’t ready to give up on what I see to be a great company in the industry. When I reached out for another job posting, I was even more shocked by the rude response. Interviewees are people.......I would have really appreciated to have been treated as such and asked more questions if there was any confusion as to how or why my background may fit the role. Needless to say I no longer think so highly of Compass.
