I went through 5 interviews including an outside recruiter over a two week period…scheduled them all while currently working. There was supposed to only be 4 but they asked me to speak to a 5th person. Not one person was the direct hiring manager? To find out that they are “pausing the hiring process”

I had 2 phone calls, one with HR, one with one of the finance executives. Then, I had a 1.5 hour long video interview with 3 different people. All went great. I was so excited and felt I was a great fit for the role. This job was my top choice and I really wanted to get an offer. However, after the last interview, and a couple of follow ups to HR, I never heard back. No transparency regarding the process, no explanation or apology. Radio silence. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately.
