First round interview. During the interview, I was asked a series of competency-based questions. They were looking for specific qualities, knowledge, skills, or behaviors needed to succeed in the role. I had to provide examples of how I handled certain situations in the past, explain the actions I took, and describe the results. The STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) was really useful for structuring my answers. They even offered some tips and coaching beforehand, which was helpful. I’m still waiting to hear back about the next round of interview.
