The entire recruitment process was very haphazard and rather unprofessional. The first round was telephonic and went well given that I was interviewed by a technical person however the final panel based interview was a sham. It looked as if they (a senior finance exec & a HR person) had already made up their minds on who was to be selected and the rest of the interviews were mere formalities. I was just asked to parrot back my CV to them and asked a few random questions (strength & weaknesses, family background!! etc).
I for one am at a loss to understand HOW can anyone find any grounds for selection/rejection based on such questions. Not to mention the very high levels of disinterest shown by both interviewers was very unprofessional. I do not begrudge the fact that I was not offered a job - but the fact that my time was wasted on a pointless meeting is certainly not appreciated.

1 round of functional + 1 round of Domain + 1 round of Cross Functional + 1 Round of HR
Almost all the rounds would start with your resume & existing experience. It would cover basics of Product Management ; linking the same to your experience; then move to domain basis the requirement. Tier 1 B-School is a Plus. HR is a standard interview covering Tell Me , What , How , Growth, Expectations etc.
