I received an email from a member of upper management asking me to be at work at my venue for a certain time the following day. Casual sit down in another venue within the company that I already worked at. We went over some varied levels of expectations and spoke about the guy who I would be replacing and his leaving. No reasons were given as they did not know his full story yet. Either way, the job offer was presented informally and I accepted based on my tenure with the company and pending a salary review when the official offer letter was presented to me in about a week time following the casual sit down.
