My two experiences with CTA were not positive. It started when I applied for position six months ago and never got any response, not even an auto generated no thank you. It would be nice to at least acknowledge applicants. Secondly, about two weeks ago I saw another opening that I was interested in and decided to try again. A few days after applying, I was contacted by their recruiter and scheduled for an interview. That interview went well and she informed me that she was going to recommend me and forward my information to the hiring manager. She also said she would follow back up with me the following Monday. That Monday came and went and no follow up, so I emailed her on Tuesday. She responded saying while my background and experience were impressive, the hiring manager did not wish to consider me. The email response was totally contradictory because per the recruiter, I was a great fit! I find it very unprofessional that the hiring manager wouldn’t even interview me before coming to a conclusion.
