Typical interview at the beginning with a phone screen. I was then asked to come to the office for an in-person interview since one of the team members was in town. This was around the time of the COVID pandemic so I risked exposure and traveled to the office. I didn't mind at the time because the initial call had me excited to meet the people I might end up working with. I was told that I would be given a take-home assessment which I completed and submitted. Then as you might know by the other reviews, I was then ghosted by the company. I sent a follow-up email and got no response. This was extremely unprofessional and should be addressed since this looks like a common occurrence. This also might have been a blessing in disguise because an HR company that treats candidates so unprofessionally probably isn't the best to current employees.
