-Introductions
-Paperwork (Far too many hard copies for a BPO - this should be online, and should be done before the assessment centre to save time and save the planet.)
-Tests: Tech test ( This should be more focused on telecom and ADSL, rather than networking). I found the networking questions to be irrelevant, who uses wifi for online gaming these days?
- Numeracy and Literacy tests were easy enough
- Role play = we were given 30 mins to prepare, only needed 10
- Interview = 2 person interview
Pro:
- Interviewer was a wonderful person, she is a credit to the company.
Cons:
- The selection process took way too long, we started at 10 am and finished at 2:25 pm, we didn't get any coffee breaks or lunch during this time. 4 hours and 20 mins @ 7.10ph = £28.40 out of pocket, not forgetting to mention the cost of travelling to Bredbury by bus!
- Data capture, why is this on paper? This should be automated, I was not comfortable having all my personal information on a paper file.
- Did I mention no coffee or refreshments when we were there for 4 hours!!!
- Assessment centre room was too small 15x20feet we were packed liked sardines.
- Roleplay was in the actual contact centre floor, which was fine but I was annoyed at people who should be busy working giggling in the background like children at school.
- Interview again was on the contact centre floor at the desk of one of the supervisors. Again I felt really annoyed about having my personal information being read out in earshot of everyone.
Overall:
- I didn't like the way I was treated on this "assessment centre" I will not recommend this employer to my associates.

Colloquio
It was rather quick and I kinda of had whiplash. Definitely not a bad thing. I went first to the open interviews which was about 30-45 min. First you fill out your information and they give you a short 10 question quiz (I'll put questions down below) then they call you and do a interview in the same room that everyone is in while like 5 or 6 other interviewers are interviewing others so it was kind of hard to hear. Other than that it only took like 10 min. They then scheduled me for a second interview which was the next day. At the second interview before I interviewed with the interviewer they made me do a typing test on Typingtest.com . They said I could take as many times as wanted but i only had to take it once. I needed to get 35 wpm on their 1-min test. I just chose the first test on there. The lady then interviewed me. Basically said if i had anything that would conflict with the job, told me hours, and then did this thing with a phone and made sure i know how to use it( go to settings, turn on/off wifi, how do i do airplane mode, where is this found, how do you check storage) basic stuff. Then she did a roleplay call with me acting like a customer calling in saying that they could not access internet and i basically told her to turn it on and to sign in to public wifi. After that She then extended the position to me and told me the project I would be working with and made me sign a non disclosure agreement for the project then filled out other information.

All the rounds were classy truly checking the potential of the candidate.interview procedure is Very good in judging candidates as well asked questions related to networking and troubleshooting of the Operating System. Night shifts are also there. Microsoft as is heard as a high profile process for Convergys and they are looking for people with neutral accent. Don't fake it!
