First you will complete your online application and skills assessment. If this meets their requirements you will either be asked to complete a phone interview or an interview in person. Typically you will be required to do both. During the phone interview you will be asked basic interview and scenario questions. During the face to face interview I was asked to demonstrate how I would sell an ink pen to the recruiter. Once you have completed your sales pitch you will find out whether or not you have gotten the job either in person on the same day or later by phone.

The process took nomore than a week. After applying at Convergys, I recieved a call 2 days later for an in-person interview. After the interview, they did a small tour around the building and offered a position on the spot.

It was a couple steps but none too difficult, it was a brief interview answering basic interview questions i.e What experience do you have with customer service, tell me a time you had to calm a customer down, questions on sales experience. Then a brief typing test which was literally 1 minute. Once they accepted me to the next stage we then had a group meeting to give us more info on the work we would do and they explained the attendance policy and asked if I needed time off over the next 90 days, we did a short role play which was not difficult and it was not something scary and I hate being put on the spot I front of strangers, after that they did a brief back ground check and a drug test and then I was offered the role.
