Sent in my resume through an acquaintance. Got a phone call from the director of research, spoke on the phone for about 25 min about my experience, the job's expectations, and when I could start. It was all pretty rushed but not difficult. That evening, I received a contract through e-mail that I signed. After spending a couple months contracting, I was hired as a full member of the team.
