This recruiter sent me a LinkedIn message, then called me unexpectedly. After that, he had his secretary reaching out to me. We scheduled a time for a phone call. So far all good.
About two days later, we finally had the call. We went over my resume, which I appreciate because other staffing agencies didn't really provide this second pair of eyes. He asked me what kinds of roles I was interested in since he had a role for a Recruiter available.
What I did NOT appreciate was that he started saying that, "it's THE LAW to be fully vaccinated to work for employers in NYC." This is so inaccurate as those mandates ended on March 7th, 2022 in NYC.
This is indeed a very delicate subject and this company should be really careful spreading misinformation to candidates, not to mention trying to enforce something like this.
