This interview was for a Senior level lab assistant in the microbiology department. The interview and offer came very quickly, HOWEVER, the salary was not disclosed until the offer was given and was insultingly low. For a job that requires a bachelor’s degree in science and years of experience, I was only offered $16.50/hr with no room for negotiation, again for a SENOIR level position. Absolutely insulting.
