Actual interview process was virtual (2 calls) and pretty straight forward and easy. I visited the office just to feel it out and something just felt "off". I was then offered, a bit on the low side, I initially accepted but decided to rescind after I went to pick up my WFH equipment, and the "off" feeling came back. No one seem incredibly happy to be working there. Manager was 10-15 minutes late in receiving me at the lobby for both visits, something that would be a bad mark if a candidate were to do that. The onboarding process was very clunky with a vague and sketchy non-compete that I did not sign, lack of organization and inconsistent communication from manager. Manager would reach out to me by phone, text, email and LinkedIn, but never was consistent in which form to speak with them. I trusted my gut and ultimately turned down the role.
