First interview was via Recruiter. This was my second time dealing with this particular recruiter, as I had applied for another position about 5 months previous. Interview was a basic interview, very easy. Interviewer stated that he'd pass the information on to the hiring manager. Heard back from the recruiter shortly. The hiring manager requested my certifications and references, which were emailed upon receipt of the email. Waited for a couple of weeks for word back, no response from recruiter. Uploaded a copy of my college transcripts to the recruiter, who acknowledged receipt. Told me the hiring manager was in the process of a major initiative, and that he'd get back to me when he could. No problem. Followed up a couple more times, every week to two weeks. After about a month of not hearing anything, I emailed the recruiter to find out if they wanted me to continue to follow up, and was told that they had already offered the position to another candidate, and if I wanted to be contacted should another opportunity would arise.
