Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Cosuno Ventures nel mese di mar 2022
Colloquio
Cosuno recruiter found me on Linkedin, we scheduled a call. I got a lot of info about company and product, so I decided to move forward. They sent me the assignment which was interesting giving me an insight to what they do. They reviewed it fast and scheduled the technical interview. The last interview was with product owner and CTO. All interviews were very informative and pleasant. Process is smooth and I would not change a thing.

Domanda 1
In technical interview I presented the solution to assignment they sent and talked about previous experiences.

Colloquio
The application process included a "case challenge" in which I was asked to design the final UI of new features for their existing product with their existing design language. They also suggested I send them my file before my presentation.
I felt that my results could easily be used by them if they liked pieces of my design. Of course they said they'd already implemented these features, but how would I know they won't pick any idea from my designs anyway? (The product isn't publicly available for free.) I didn't like the prospect of presenting changes to a design that I made with very little background knowledge of their domain or design system to the original designer. Somehow I felt I could only lose in this situation.
Finally, the challenge gave me the impression they are looking for a pure UI designer that works through stacks of tickets fast. There was only space for the UI changes they asked for, not for any research, exploration or testing that I would go through as a product designer.

Domanda 1
I received a Figma file with 2 tasks. Task #1 showed two screens (project overview; create project) and a hypothetical message from a user with two feature requests. The task was to change the two screens to satisfy the feature requests. Task #2 provided a bit more context, but also just asked for one fully designed screen in their design language (adding AI suggestions to an existing screen).
