The interview process was relatively long, involving seven video calls, largely due to changes within the team and scheduling adjustments. I appreciated the opportunity to connect with a variety of team members, though some parts of the process felt a bit repetitive, and certain questions didn’t quite match the level of experience required for the role. That said, I had positive and thoughtful exchanges with several interviewers. A few conversations, however, felt less structured, and in one case, the way questions were phrased made them somewhat difficult to interpret. It seemed that not all interviewers were fully prepared. Offering more consistent training for interviewers could help streamline the experience and make interviews feel more focused and constructive. A standout aspect of the process was the recruiting manager, who was exceptionally professional, communicative, and supportive throughout. They provided clarity and encouragement at every step and made a lasting positive impression. One area where I believe Coursera could improve is in the feedback provided after the final round. Given the time and effort invested, more specific and constructive feedback would have been appreciated. Despite the challenges, Coursera remains a company I deeply admire and would love to work with in the future. I hope the candidate experience continues to evolve in a way that reflects the company’s mission of accessibility, education, and growth.
