The process seemed pretty easy. I applied online and several weeks later was contacted by an HR person/recruiter. She set up a phone interview for me. During the phone interview, my two interviewers went through my resume and asked me about my experience and interest with the company. Several days later, the HR person contacted me again to set up a Skype interview. However, about a month went by and I didn't hear anything. Finally the HR person contacted me again about flying out to the facility for an interview. Within two days, they changed the travel arrangements and interview date on me four or five times. I had to take two flights to get to the facility, but everything was paid for. The on person interview was how I expected the phone interview to be: the standard "what would you do"/"how would you react" type questions. However, one of the interviewers spent most of the time telling me about his health issues. I also received a tour of the facility and was taken out to lunch. It was much longer than I would have preferred, but that is okay. Finally I was able to leave. I was told the HR person would follow up with me. About two days later, I received a canned email that I hadn't gotten the job. Nobody ever called me or anything. I was not too upset about not getting the job, but the manner in which I was not chosen seemed very insulting to me. I had taken four flights in two days to be at the interview after all .
