After applying and speaking to a recruiter on the phone, I was sent a PDF of their entire interview process. I'm interviewing at multiple places and Cox Automotive was by the far the most straightforward and organized from the beginning. No surprises, and they seem to have streamlined their process pretty well for both themselves and the candidate.
The phone screening was followed by an hour long technical screening over Teams. After talking about my background and answering some tech questions we proceeded on to a coding challenge. The interviewer used a browser based system that let him see what I was doing, no authentication required on my end, no screen sharing, and it was pretty well done.
Admittedly, I stumbled on the coding challenge at the end due to not doing enough "leet code" type preparation. I was not offered a position. It's a shame, because I know I could have done the role if hired, but that's just how this industry works.
But here's the interesting part (that got me to actually write this review): in their rejection email, the interviewer actually gave me some real itemized feedback including some steps that I could take that would help me improve. His advice was constructive and honestly seems to be on track. I intend to take his advice and I appreciated the actual feedback.
Despite not getting an offer, this was overall a positive experience. And I say that having had several very negative experiences interviewing at other companies.

Basic tech-stack resume based questions, followed by a couple of "leet code/hacker rank" type questions in my main language.

The process started with an initial phone call with the recruiter, followed by a short conversation with the hiring manager about the role and my background. After that, I was invited onsite to the Atlanta campus for a panel interview with three team members, two Principal Engineers and one Senior Software Engineer.
The onsite included two medium-level LeetCode-style coding questions. The interview itself went really well, and I was told afterward that I had passed and they intended to move forward. However, communication afterward was very slow. My original recruiters were laid off due to budget issues, and after waiting about 5.5 weeks with no updates, I called my new recruiter and was told they had decided to move forward with another candidate.
Overall, the interview experience was positive and the engineers were great, but the recruiting communication felt unorganized and stale, especially since updates only came after I reached out several weeks later.

A meeting with a recruiter early on. A call back later for a final interview onsite at the location. The onsite contained both a behavioral and technical stage with different managers across the different teams

the interview consisted of one phone screen with the recruiter, and then 2 in person rounds. one technical and one behavioral. They were pretty basic questions. The technical included lots of OOP concepts.
