Interview was immediate and informal. One plus was that they hired me on the spot and asked me to come in the next day to start work, which was what I needed at the time. I submitted my application while eating there with my grandparents and surprisingly enough a manager wanted to meet with me for an interview before we left. They must have been severely short staffed to hire me on the spot like that, and I am not surprised because they have a hard time retaining employees due to the hostile patrons and unreasonably low wages.

The interview was easy. They know most of these servers are just starting out. But they want you to know how to upsell, and how to work in a fast pace environment.

It went pretty well, just asked the norm, such as tell me a little about yourself and why do you want to work here. Just asked simple questions and told me I had the job and what day to come in next. I applied to be a server and they told me I would get 25 hours a week, but they ended up making me a to-go specialist and I’m getting like 6 hours a week. I also didn’t get scheduled for a month after my interview but I’m working a bit now.

Give me a situation with a difficult customer and how you handled it
Very easy, seems like they were looking for a pulse. Mine was done at the checkerboard in the dining room. not a difficult job, so not a difficult interview. I don't remember any specific questions
