Crisis Text Line asks about your background. It is a simple and straightforward application you start online on their website. You have to do a training that is several hours long, where you go over the basics. Then you attend a class with other students to learn with a supervisor.
Application process was straightforward but long. They do guide you through the process really well and make it easy to understand. It’s really rewarding and the training is really good.
