Before being invited to interview for the associate position, I was asked to submit a writing test (sample blog). I was then interviewed by a team of leaders and lower level employees. It is my understanding that there is another round of interviews if you make it past the first one

While I did not interview, I did submit my resume via email. I then reached out to one of their employees via handshake. She thanked me for reaching out and asked me if I would like to proceed with a writing test. I thought this was odd, having read reviews stating that they had a mini-interview and then took the writing test. Once I submitted my writing test, she stated that she would reach back out with the next steps. She never did. I was wary from the beginning of this process as they have an all-white staff in the diverse hub of D.C. I believe that they only sent me the writing test so that they could not be deemed discriminatory. However, I don't believe that I ever had a fair chance.
