Interactive, challenging. There was an initial question based interview, followed by a panel interview. The questions were both general knowledge of the law and also based upon a case study.

It was a lengthy process with several stages over a number of months requiring significant commitment and time resource. The interview consists of two parts legal test (theory may have been given in advance) , then you present your answer to the legal question to the panel and then the actual interview starts. Well over 2 hours from start to finish and this is only for the final interview. This is the easy one because the recruitment process for advocates takes about double the time ; so estimate roughly that you’ll need 6 months for that.
