Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Cruise (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di ago 2018
Colloquio
Sourcer reached out about a frontend engineering position and connected me with a cruise recruiter. A 45 min technical phone screen was scheduled and the questions were writing throttle, debounce, and an event emitter in JavaScript. Then an onsite was scheduled. It was 4 rounds of 1 hr each, 1 experience/behavioral with a hiring manger, 3 technical. The technical questions were extensive and had to be done in ~30 minutes. The first one was literally writing redux from scratch, second was writing babel to parse async/await syntax sequentially into ES6 promises, and the third was writing minesweeper in React. I finished #1 and #3 fine, bombed #2. Interviewer #2 clearly didn't care about my past experience and the question was asked very poorly. A really bad personality for an interviewer imo (aka no personality at all lol). Follow up email was sent on Monday. Overall a good experience though!

The process was smooth, 6 rounds of process. Behavioral, debugging, coding, hiring manager, system design, process was fast, different teams interviewing you, difficult questions, however people were nice. 3 different offices located in sf and sunnyvale
They did a brief discussion about my experience and resume and asked a hard leetcode problem. The problem was solved almost optimally, but some issues with edge cases, however they pushed for a wierd implementation to solve it. Ended up cancelling the job posting cause someone acccepted it jsut 2 days after. Why interview then??

Applied online with my resume, heard back af ew weeks later. Then I received an invite for an initial 45-minute technical screen. A day later, I passed the interview and after that, I moved on to the final round of interviews which consisted of 45-minute technical and 45-minute behavioural.
