When you apply they send you an email to take a codesignal test. There are 15 questions and you have 1 hour to do it. I think I got through like 3 or 4 or them and that wasn't enough to pass through this stage.
If you want this job you really need to grind leetcode for a while, as just having many years of experience doesn't prepare you to sit there and grind out a whole bunch of algorithm problems in an hour.

Disappointing experience. Initial step was a coding exercise - no conversation with a human beforehand. The test had 15 questions in one hour, which is just absurd. I didn't know whether to go for speed or code quality. Most of the questions themselves were reasonable, though you weren't allowed to consult docs which made some of the questions difficult - plus I couldn't change the database type or language in a few of them.
Be better, Cube. You could get the same signal with 4 questions. I probably wouldn't have continued the interview with them even if I passed. And the rejection came so fast I doubt they even looked at the code, just the overall score. (So I would go for speed at the expense of code quality if I had it to do over).

A recruiter messaged me about the position and we joined in a call.
After that, there was a code assignment with many problems to solve.
Then a tech interview with the VP of Engineering who told me he did not have my CV, so I sent him an email with it.
We had a couple of questions and I believe I was able to answer them fairly well.
I had another call with the company recruiter who told me I did very well in both the interview and code assignment and said he was going to come up with an answer by the end o the week.
A week after that, I still had no answer so I messaged him back. After 2 weeks still no answer.
I got ghosted.
