3) Understand core features pertaining to internal combustion engine and aftertreatment architecture (preferred; although not a must)

Done smoothly. Took around a month for the final offer. Interviewers were encouraging and understanding. Listened patiently to what the candidate had to convey during interviews. Good response while taking follow up.
