The interview process had about five phases. The first was an interview with the person who would be my direct supervisor. That was around 45 minutes and involved general questions about my experience and interest in the position. The second phase was a small research project using data the company sent me. I had the option of doing that using R, SQL, or another tool. The third phase was a technical interview with two members of the research team I would be on. That was about an hour and focused on experience designing, supporting, and reporting research projects. The fourth phase was two 30 minute interviews--one with a Senior Research Scientist and another with a Senior Director of Psychometrics. The final phase was a 30 minute interview with the Vice President of Assessment and Research. After that, I had a final meeting with the person who would be my direct supervisor for follow-up questions and HR asked for 3 professional references. The entire process took a bit over a month.
