I originally came in after a few email exchanges with one of the owners and office managers to interview for a full-time HR position. Upon seeing the size of the company I realized that it would be a year or two before they were large enough to need a position like that but went through the in-person interview anyways. It could have ended in 15 minutes after we went through the basics but I ended up staying for about an hour just conversing with management, they were not rushing me out the door and I genuinely enjoyed the talk. After settling that the position I was interested in was not going to be available in the near future they offered me a role on the Custom Loyalty Team and I accepted a week later.
The interview was thorough but relaxed, definitely more focused on the individual than the resume which is a good thing for a new company since culture is so easily changed by one bad apple at that size.
