Applied online. Hear fairly quickly. Was invited for the interview with line manager. Had good discussion, was invited for the second interview with a person who was not prepared for the interview. When invited for the second interview, I asked the internal recruiter how is the interviewer related to the position I was applying for. Recruiter responded that he did not know. On LinkedIn found the second interviewer had the same job title as the role I was applying for. Second interviewer could not answer basic question for example how many employees this role serves. Or advising me that the company is a financial institution because the ultimate owner is a financial institution. Following the second interview, the internal recruiter did not answer my follow ups, until three weeks later advised me that the role has been filled. Interestingly, the role was advertised for additional three months. And the role was being advertised in previous 6 months. I doubt the role ever existed.
