Just look at the reviews here and it should be pretty obvious that you don’t want to work here unless it’s your only option.
I submitted an application online and was contacted the next day by a recruiter to setup a phone screen. A red flag right off the bat was the confirmation email after applying has an offer for a discounted Sling trial. Trying to sell to potential hires is really tacky.
Was asked to come in for a 3 person interview and it was red flag city. First, the recruiter gave me a tour and immediately pointed out the boost mobile signage in the building. A took me a minute to realize she was doing a sales pitch. She told me she got a second phone just to fulfill the pressure that all employees signup for boost mobile.
Later on the tour we passed a nondescript guy in a hallway. After we passed the recruiter began telling me how he was a high up executive in some division. She said she was glad she wasn’t saying anything questionable when he passed or she could get in trouble. Holy toxic culture of fear Batman!
As has been mentioned in plenty of reviews here, she took me to the turnstiles where employees badge in and let me know you have to scan by 8:59 each day or you’ll get in trouble. She also pointed out there’s a time of day when around lunch where people can come and go freely. But she said it like it was some kind of generous privilege. Felt a lot like daycare or something.
Was taken to the interview room and sat with 3 managers who took turns asking questions for an hour. I don’t have anything negative to say about them personally. But it was one of those interviews where they are only allowed to ask you generic canned questions from a list so it felt very stilted. I’m better at conversational interviews so I mostly just rambled at their questions with very little interaction from them. They were all on their laptops and it seemed like they weren’t really listening to me at times. Felt like we were just checking boxes on a list. Very few technical questions which I found odd for an engineering position.
After the interview I pretty much knew I didn’t want to work there unless they made me an amazing offer. Didn’t bother to send thanks you notes. About a week later got the rejection email. The only positive I’ve thing I’ll say about the process is it was super streamlined and I went from application to rejection in 3 weeks.

They asked a lot of forgettable, generic questions but the funniest was along the line of “Tell me about a time you worked on a project with the companies goals in mind?”

First, all three interviewers introduced themselves. I then described my experience and background. Afterwhich, they each followed up with questions for me. I asked a few questions about the job roll and the interview was ended.

Domanda 1
I was asked me to describe one specific project I was given, and how the results impacted the company.
