Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 8 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso DNV nel mese di ago 2022
Colloquio
7/17: Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn followed w/ phone screen on 7/19
7/27: Completed Video Interview w/c I received good feedback!
8/17: Interviewed w/ 2 people, 45 mins ea. 6:10am PST and 8am PST. Received feedback it went very well. Next step was interview w/ Prod Lead and VP.
Between 8/17 and 9/9: I followed up on the schedule. VP not available on first week due to meetings and second week, VP not available again due to East Coast travel.
9/8: Recruiter contacted me and said there are other opportunities..
9/9: I sent final email leading w/ statement that perhaps there was a reorg structure or budgeting constraint that was causing the further delays in scheduling the final interview. Recruiter said that I guessed it right. I shared with him that the role was still available, but he said it was going to be taken down in three business days.
9/15: The role is still available in the DNV career site.
I was willing to take a pay cut to be with a company that cares about people and the climate. I didn't mind starting a non-Senior role, because I wanted to be part of DNV community.
HUGE disappointment, as I had high regard for the company based on mission and vision.

Pre-recorded video interview was awkward and tedious. I understand that it might be more efficient in terms of man-hours than a screening phone call with a human person, but the entire process felt impersonal and automated and diminished my impression of the company. The interview itself “could have been an email.”
A three-stage interview which required preparation of a presentaion and doing some tests . It took many hours to make the slides as the requirements were very specific. It was worth it though.
