Colloquio
The CEO called me on the phone for a brief interview. He asked about my background and and other basic questions. Following my phone interview, I was told to come in for an in-person interview. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was greeted by the woman at the front desk. She directed me to the conference room, where the interview was being held. After the interview, I was given an editing test and then a writing test.
Phone interview and then a writing test. If they like your writing, you'll be asked to come in for an in-person interview and editing test. After the interview, the CEO called me directly to ask me a few more questions.

Colloquio
The interview process started out with a simple, standard phone interview. This consisted of basic questions about my experience and background. Then, I was invited into the office for an in-person interview. The owner and one of this account executives interviewed me. They asked things about my previous jobs, schooling, and just questions about me. One thing that kind of caught me off guard is when I didn’t want to talk bad about my previous employers I got the response of, “well you left for a reason.” I don’t really like talking about issues within other companies. The only other thing I did not appreciate was when we were talking about my education, he asked how the school makes sure we do not cheat. While I participated in an online program, I attended a very prestigious school and I wasn’t sure if that was him questioning if I deserved the high GPA I worked so hard for. One thing I screwed up on, is that that I did not research enough about the company and their clients. Be prepared to know I guess everything about their clients, blog posts, and missing statement.
Besides the verbal interview, I also had to participate in a writing and editing test. I thought I did well on the editing portion, but the writing test had a lot of parts with very little time to achieve what they wanted. 35 minutes is not enough to properly review the case study, research the publication, and write a pitch letter with accurate and sufficient information.
Even with a few hiccups, this interview experience was positive and friendly.
