Went through 2 rounds of interviews for an internal candidate for one position to be ghosted by the interviewing team and kept getting pushed away by the recruiter and eventually was told that they had been meaning to get with me (over a month after my interview) that I was not selected. The other position I interviewed for I went through 5 rounds of interviews all at different times and days of the week. I did get an offer after practically begging to gain feedback on my interviews and where I can improve and was reconsidered for a lateral move where my role is not defined and being thought of at the fly of the moment. I accepted because of the status of the job market and because it is closer aligned with my career so I will settle for the time being and keep looking out.
