The waste of time and effort I spent interviewing with seven different managers. At one point, I was told the position was on hold, waiting for the budget. Then I was asked to continue interviewing with different stakeholders while they sorted out the budget. Lo and behold, fast-forward: they've reposted the position, and I have been approached by multiple headhunters about the role I interviewed for over the course of six months. A company that prides itself on being professional has to treat its candidates better than how this process unfolded.
